Type: Bug

  1. I accidentally unistalled the "HTML CSS Support" extension from Visual Studio Code.
  2. I tried to reinstall it from the marketplace, but the installation failed or had no effect.
  3. I downloaded the official .vsix file for the extension and attempted manual installation-still unsuccessful.
  4. Cleared the extension cache and restarted Visual Studio Code multiple times-no changes.
  5. Tried disabling other extensions, but the issue persists.

Expected result:
The "HTML CSS Support" extension should reinstalled successfully without errors.

Actual result:
The installation fails every time , both through the marketplace and via.vsix file.
The extension no longer works or appears properly in VS Code.

System info and enabled extensions are included with this report.
