Best practices lead to clear documentation, parameter descriptions and mapping of information.
At the same time, there are code bases and models that are developed to support research inquiry and may not be appropriate for use or application in an operationalized setting (e.g. such as an emergency response event).
Ideally, models will be described in a manner that helps define whether they are best suited to use across contexts.
Suitability criteria may need to be defined and/or described as a best practice. But this may not be a requirement for inclusion in the OMF system/repositories and/or collections of models.
